7月16日，尊貴的都炯仁波切在代表寧瑪巴向尊者達賴喇嘛敬獻長壽供養後，特前來上密院覲見法王。
On 16th July, 2007, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche was in Dharamsala as one of the representatives of the Nyingma Lineage who offered Tenshug to His Holiness Dalai Lama. Afterwards, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche met with Gywalang Karmapa.

7月21日，法王應沙拉西藏高等學院之邀請，為全校兩百五十多位師生及各佛教學院報名前來參加年度辯論的參辯者演講。法王的演講主題為《保存西藏傳統化的重要性》（全文連結）。此年度的藝文活動主要針對科學、文學及佛教哲學思辯等議題而舉辦的辯論活動。
On 22nd July, His Holiness was chief guest at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarah, where he gave a talk on Tibetan science, literature and Buddhist philosophy at the annual debate sessions. More then 250 students of the College and three participants of each of the affiliated Buddhist institutions attended.

7月22日，法王接受尊貴的嘉察仁波切傳予的完整時輪金剛灌頂。此傳灌已持續一週的時間，包含三百六十二位的本尊灌頂。法王辦公室秘書長竹奔仁波切於灌頂首日（七月十五日）敬獻哈達。
On the 22 July, His Eminence Gyaltsab Rinpoche completed the Kalachakra transmission to His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa. The complex transmission, called “Shag duen ma Yongsu dakpa Yeshe Gyatsoe Chueth thenn kyi Wang,” involves a 362-deities empowerment (“wang”), Drupon Rinpoche (General Secretary) offered ceremonial scarf to commence the ceremony on 15th July, which took place over a period of one week. – Tashi Paljor
